November may also give good periods of rises
even if nymphs normally will give better results.
Anyway, here it is, my absolute favorite among the dries.
The fly is a catcher all the year, perhaps best in the autumn,
when most of the insects are midges, ants, "houseflies" and other "landinsects".

Tying/Materials:
- Hook:Partridge GRS3A/L3A, size # 12-22
- Tread:Black flymaster 6/0
- Body Rear:Blue Dun SLF, spun in dubbing-loop
- Wing:same as hackle
- Hackle:Black cockhackle, 2 hackles if not Hoffmann, cut in V-shape under.
- Frontbody:small amount of SLF.
